WELCOME TO SHOBUDO SELF-DEFENCE SYSTEMS We provide training in Taditional Okinawan ShorinRyu Karate and Kobudo (weapons). Shobudo dojo - Sensei Carel vd Westhuizen is the branch head for Butokukan in South Africa   Our Grand Master is Hanshi 10th Dan Sokuichi Gibu (Okinawa Japan)   We are directly affiliated under Hanshi Sokuichi Gibu (10th Dan - Judan) with Sensei John Spence USA (6th Dan) as the our Sensei, Friend and Advisor   We are a traditional school with a friendly family atmosphere. Our Dojo is a professional fully equipped studio. Shobu-do also conducts Self-defense classes, courses and seminars.
